Shame-Sexual abuse on poor young girls

Mr. Afzel -the chief prosecutor for Rochdale, Manchester, England said,’Gender not race was the key issue.” there is no community where women and girls are not vulnerable to sexual attack and that’s a fact’.

According to Mr K. Naveneethan’s Face Book on the 3rd of June,is that, on the 31st of May when the case of Sexual abuse by Muslim men on three Tamil girls in Mallikaitheevu-(Moothur area) came in front of the judge, there were NO LAWYERS except 5 Police men for the girls who were abused but there were lawyers (Muslim) for the perpetrators.

After, Mr.Navaneethans’ statement regarding ‘NO LAWYERS’ for the poor Tamil Girls, a lawyer-Mr. Stanilus Celastine is willing to take case of the girls with no no payment. I am very grateful for his service for the vulnerable poor girls.

Regardless whether we belonged to a different gender race or, religion, this is our duty to bring the perpetrators to face punishment for their horrendous- shameful action . WE MUST support the young girls and upheld our values on humanity.

A few years ago, there was a sexual abuse case in England where 45 young ( 13 years onwards) white girls abused by Mainly Muslim men (59 years old and so on) for a long time (from 2008 -2011)_ in Rochdale area
The ‘people in power’ who supposed protect and help the young girls were failed to act as ‘fear accused of racism’. The police were failed to investigate the cases properly.

In 2011, Rochdale Chief prosecutor was appointed. He is a Pakistani Muslim, Mr. Nazir Afzel. He brought the perpetrators to the court and they(12 of Them) were convicted.

Mr. Afzel said,’Gender not race was the key issue.” there is no community where women and girls are not vulnerable to sexual attack and that’s a fact’.

So, decent Sri Lankan people please look at this horrible case. Do what ever you can do help the poor young girls get justice and put the perpetrators behind the bar.
